Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Our philosophy is that patients get better with an approach that combines one-on-one manual therapy, (hands-on care), with specific, individualized therapeutic exercises. We realize the importance of consistency of care. Depending on your schedule, we try to keep you with one or at the most two physical therapists throughout your time at JPT.

Neck and Back Pain

We focus on treating the problem, direct hands-on care with specific exercises to help remedy the problem and achieve successful results.

Balance Program

As with any condition, our goal is to correctly identify the source of your balance dysfunction. Is there a problem with vertigo, muscle weakness, vision or sensation? Our examination will give you the answers and our treatment program will be geared toward fixing the problem and fall prevention.

Arthritis Program

There are many different forms of arthritis. The two most common types include rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. We have developed specialized treatment programs to decrease pain and improve function in these areas. Each person’s program is individualized depending on the severity of the condition.

Osteoporosis Program

Once this diagnosis has been determined by your physician, physical therapy is one treatment of choice. Physical therapy includes education on the condition as well as weight-bearing exercise, balance exercises to prevent falls and flexibility and strength training. The team approach to care works best here as physicians may prescribe medications along with PT to remedy the problem.

House Calls Program

We bring this service directly to your home. This service is for those patients who have difficulty making it to our office and do not require any other rehabilitation service such as nursing or OT. Other conditions frequently treated include gait and balance dysfunction as well as general deconditioned status.

Family and Friend Screening

As a courtesy to our patients, we will give free injury screenings to your family and friends. Schedule to bring them to one of your treatments and we will make recommendations concerning their condition and refer them to the appropriate medical professional.

Sports Injury Clinic

This service is for the high school athlete who is injured in his or her sport. A free screening will be given to athletes on the same day of injury to expedite care and return to sport. We will make the appropriate referral to a physician who specializes in your injury.

Dr. Sabitha Sundaresh

Working in the field of dentistry since 1990.

Dr. Sabitha Sundaresh received her D.D.S. degree -- Doctor of Dental Surgery -- from the New York University School of Dental Medicine, Manhattan, New York in 2000 with honors. She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery B.D.S (1992) and her Post Graduate degree in Conservative and Endodontics M.D.S (1996) from Mysore University, India.

Dr. Sundaresh has now been in private practice since 2003 and is currently a member of the following dental societies:

3. New Jersey Dental Society
4. Academy of General Dentistry
5. Omicron Kappa Upsilon
